A new global force in aviation emerged with the establishment of Aeronautical College of Bangladesh (ACB) is the first aeronautical training center in Bangladesh established 2008. A group of academic personal had serious of meeting and seminars to identify national and international demands for the trade. With the help of IATS, International Air Training Service (Research based company developed around 86 aeronautical related modules). Over the years ACB conducted many short courses for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineering personnel, including Human Factor in Aviation, Air legislation. It has a number of well reputed experienced professional Instructors and lecturers embracing all facts of Civil Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training requirements. The college is well equipped with all necessary facilities such as Turbo Jet, Turbo shaft engines, Piston Engine, Propeller and necessary a/c equipment, Components, parts; printed books/manuals, tool, equipment, machinery for workshops, furniture etc. as to conduct effective training program.

 At the moment ACB offers wide range of courses approved by BTEC from Edexcel and prepared to run two and half years first track customized program for Diploma Engineers from BTEB and Ex. Air force engineers BTEC HND level 4/5 in aerospace engineering from 10/11 academic year with intention of offering up to level 6 which is equivalent of UK Honors’ degree.

ACB is the first institute in Bangladesh who offers such highly demand technical course. And it has been proven by completing 2 batch of BTEC National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
